Here at Hammer Time Roofing, we prefer to install roofs using one method as often as possible: hand-nailing. We prefer this method over using a nail gun or otherwise because we have better control over the quality of your roof installation. Here are a few of the pros and cons of hand-nailed roofs.

Pros:
- Better precision: With hand-nailed roofs, you can trust that the roofing materials were installed with precision. Hand nailing allows us to carefully place the nails in perfect spots and drive them in carefully without any room for bending or other nailing issues.
- No damaged shingles: With hand-nailed roofs, we have greater control over the force to drive in the nails as well. We can use gentle force to drive in the nails to avoid potentially damaging your shingles with too much force.
- More secure shingles: Hand-nailed roofs tend to be more secure because we take the time to carefully drive in all the nails all the way. This can help your roof be more durable and protected against strong winds or other weather conditions.
Cons:
- A slower process: Hand-nailed roofs tend to take a little more time than roofs installed with a nail gun. We always work as efficiently as possible with our hand-nailing process, but we will never cut corners to ensure a top-quality roof.
- Must be performed by highly skilled roofers: Hand-nailed roofs are typically top quality, but this is only true when the installation is performed by a highly trained professional, like the roofers on our team. We have years of experience with hand-nailing roofs for installations, and you can trust us to deliver excellent results every time.
